there is something about a maxi skirt with a crop top and sandals that has an ethereal bohemian spirit. one can easily imagine traversing nyc or faeryland in it.

this is something i would wear to party if I had five minutes to get dressed. this is similar to something I wore the other night: chanel bag, trench coat, red lipstick, black lace tights, red wedges. while you might say: oh why that looks like something you just threw on, i say: exactly! it's warm and comfortable, is quick, and when worn with the correct 'careless model pose' can look infinitely superior to the careful matchy-matchy looks so many girls wear.
Put on that red lipstick and smoke those eyes, darling. Enjoy the party.
